I've never heard them called that before. I know it was probably a typo, but maybe we should start using that term?

If they weren't fun, at least in some sense, would we still do them? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Yes, it was a typo...read my signature. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Finally read through this thread. I claim the right to interpret the rules liberally. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I think all donuts taste the same.

I think all wine tastes the same.

I think all coffee tastes the same.

I rarely drink alcohol on planes.

I can easily distinguish between brands of cola and beer.

I spend extra money (but not like Opus) to rent cars in Europe with automatic transmissions even though I can drive a manual perfectly well.

If I'm in a roundabout in England and can't decide which exit to take, I just drive around a few more times until I decide. I would do this in revolving doors if I could get away with it.

I've never smoked tobacco.

I've never done drugs with Catman either.

This has been a fun read.

I guess I am too boring - nothing even remotely fun has happend to me.
The only time that comes close - first time I flew First - I looked and looked for the tray table. Wasn't this first class? Was I suppossed to hold the tray on my lap?
The F/A was walking toward me with the food tray.
I tried to look cool --- very hard to do when I can't find the tray.
She looked at me and in that real nice smile -- tapped the armrest.
She then turned to serve the folks on the other side of the aisle.
Okay I have more time now -- it's in here somewhere. Finally I popped open the top, but only after intensley searching both the inside and outside of the armrest.
Ah, there it is - INSIDE. Who would of thought to look there? Obviously not me.
So there it is. Now how to get the dang thing out.
Oh no - FA is coming toward me with a tray. This woman takes her job seriously. I pull this and that and can't get the stupid (notice I use the word to describe the tray not me) tray out.
I hear a little sigh... a hand comes down and gets the tray out.
Still that sweet sweet smile. I know she's thinking what an idiot.
So there I was with the tray out and finally food ready to eat.
Ah, the joys of flying coach.

In case any of you are wondering how old I was at the time --- finished college... so maybe the US educational system is not all it's cracked up to be.

I flew for biz for 6 years before joining a FF program - I was following the "It's against corp. guidelines for travelers to collect FF miles for biz related travel." rule
1/96 the co. said it was OK - and started my obsession.

I was running late for a return flight from Sydney to San Francisco due to extra security checks and botched check-in procedures. After running from the check-in counter toward the gate, I realized I was still holding the SWU with my boarding pass, passport, etc., and ran back to give it to the agent who looked at me incredulously, but took it after telling me it would have never been tracked and it would have been mine to use again.

On one hand, I did the honorable thing and may get some karma points out of it and it would have left me holding an odd number of SWUs and therefore I would have been able only to confirm one way on my next trip without using miles.

On the other hand, Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Seth & CrAAzy,

Sorry about that Seth didn't read your post close enough - too bad about that CO thing http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif I'm an EXP, although I'm sure I have a paper Onepass card laying around here somewhere http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I wasn't going to tell these but....what the heck...

I eat every speck of food I am given on any airline flight unless it is eggs, tomatoes or fish.

I ALWAYS get to SFO at least 2 hours ahead of time even before 9/11.

I had never been in an RCC till our Xmas flight to LHR.

I am a "fake" Gold HH member.

I am OK with being a UA 2P.
