Honey, it is my face paint that does it, and I fear that I am a BA girl anymore so I dress to fly as though I worked for a tenth rate German charter airline with the sort of hats (in this day and age I ask you) that Britannia Airways used to wear.
So you have your vote, but if I don't get in, I promise that I can still scream (O I'm an adept at foot stamping as well if that cuts any ice at this the MacFlyer Board. I think of yuou, and rush off to toss cables (well, actually next-doors cat over the fence. Joke MR Catman really!!)

Scotland to Honor Madonna With Plaid
LONDON (AP) - Madonna won't have to wear any old plaid Scottish kilt
Scottish tourist authorities have come up with an original plaid tartan pattern to honor Madonna and the publicity they say she's brought to the Scottish Highlands.
The blue, yellow, white and purple plaid has been registered with the Scottish Tartans Society Register.
Officials said they created the tartan to thank the queen of pop for drawing attention to the Scottish Highlands, where she and British film director Guy Ritchie were wed last year.
Scott Armstrong of the Scotland Tourist Board said the ``Madonna effect'' had sparked a rise in the number of couples spending romantic holidays in Highland castles.
Madonna, who has a home in London, sported a tartan kilt on her recent Drowned World tour

I know this doesn't count but I did fly on British Caledonian twice and visited your fair country this past summer. Great place -- only rained 2 of 7 days for us! Guess the weather makes Scots tough, kind of like some of us interior western Canadians!
. . . oh and I have eaten haggis too!

Haggis was invented for the tourists, one of those "See if they are dumb enough to actually eat it" dishes. :P

I don't believe that my ancestor's family rose to the dignity of a full-fledged clan, but I count somewhere way back one Gilberto McElwain (sometimes Mucklevaine) said to have been the Laird of Grimmet.

How sad to be clan-less ... on a recent flight, my seat opponent and I discoved we are Clansmen.
