micro FT gathering @MEX

Ive been in contact with two FT brethren about doing a very informal (drinks/maybe dinner after work somewhere in Polanco) gathering in the DF (Mexico City).

If you are planning to be in MEX sometime in the next week and are interested in attending, please email me. I will post the handles of the other two FTers after they give me their OK to do so. Target date for this meeting is Wednesday Nov 7th or Thursday Nov 8th.

I'm planning a quick trip to Mexico City either 11/13-11/15 or 11/28-11/30. I'd very pleased to meet some other FT's for either pre-dinner cocktails or after dinner drinks. Any FTers available? Gaucho?

MA-- I think I just may have missed you... if you already came to town. 11/28, if thats still your travel date may be doable for us to get together for a drink. Please let me know what your schedule is.

Also, MEX1K will be co-hosting this event with me. Target date is second week of December.

Due to my relocation from Washington to Virginia, I decided to postpone my trip to Mexico City until spring. Sorry about that. I'll be certain to let you know when I reschedule.

How about a macro-gathering? Anyone else up for a FT dinner in Mexico City next year?

Hey guys... I'd love to meet up for dinner in MEX. Let me know what and when you've got planned, and I'll come down to MEX if it works out for me.

Gaucho100K,

Thanks for the invitation, but no more leisure travel for me this year. But I owe a visit to a friend living in MEX for 2 years now, so soon or later I must pass by there, let you know.

Wow... quite some feedback here. Great !!

So, it looks like we will go ahead and try to pull off a first micro-meeting for the 2nd week of December, and perhaps something larger for 2002. I will keep you all posted.

Sometime in early 2002:

MMM (M3, Mcubed, Mx3) Macro MEX Meeting (aka (Magnifico MEX Meeting)

Be there or be square(d)

Hey! This could be a really great idea. Mexico City has so much to do and see, great food, international flair, good people. Anyone interested in joining?

FT MMM 2002 - hows that for the official name of next years gathering?

Im still not sure if I will be spending lots of time here next year, but I should have a better idea by Xmas. In any event, I will attend and can help plan this even if Im elsewhere.
