Help, I can't post

Is something wrong with the website. I have tried to post a reply on the flyertalk community site and it won't go through. ?????

Sometimes the server is just slow. You have several posts in the gay FT thread which are dupes. You can't delete them but it might be nice if you edit the message and delete the text.

Isn't this on the FT Community thread? Is it perhaps just the replies at issue?

mgm: Okay so here is my story: I tried to reply to a post on the board about gay flyertalkers and thought it wasn't posting because senile as I am I was looking at the bottom of page 1. I have now found my replies and tried to delete the text as you suggested and could not do it. So please note I am not ignoring your suggestion, I am just computer illiterate or perhaps just message board illiterate. Sorry for the trouble.

Marysunshine,

Don't worry, it's no big deal. I'm not all that senile yet and I [i]still[i/] have troubles with my posts

Besides, I enjoyed reading yours three times!

No illiteracy problems, it's just a little confusing with that delete box up there.

You can't actually delete posts, but you can edit the body of the message so it just says something like:

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Dupe</font>
Maybe that's a feature we can put before our TalkBoard to let people delete their own posts.

Another option would be to just post once. It does become annoying, though, to think you have posted something and not see it show up for a couple hours sometimes. I have learned that once I hit "Submit reply," it'll eventually show up.

Just do a "deep reload" afterwards and it shows up (Shift-reload for real(netscape) browsers .

thank you this is constantly happening.I notice often that there have been update posts and I cannot access the latest. Some stuff seem to take days to post. What I do (as I cannot think of how else to do it) is to go into "Reply" and then review the topic and that seems to have everything there.

I notice that all this started happening after the New Improved Board came into being.
