If Punki and Mileage Addict will promise lots of advice, I can take the plunge and spearhead the event.

But I can only do the weekend of 2-4 November.

I'll check into Dinner train reservations.

I'm in SEA right now for business this week and will be returning here for Oct 6-13.

That October week would be a good week since I'm already here, but something in Nov or Dec wouldn't sound too bad for a weekend since I will probably need a mileage run to get my next status level on CO.

After some discussion in the Chatroom and a re-evaluation of my calendar....

The official dates for the 3rd Seattle Gathering will be November 16-18.

I will start a new thread for replys and comments as soon as I think of a catchy name for our shindig and do a little more research on locales.

November 16-18 sounds good to me. I already know I'll have family visiting but I should be able to get away for a few hours here and there.

Okay, I'm in.

I suggest posting this in the Air Canada forum where a bunch of YVR'ers congregate.

All the dates mentioned by ClassicalGal, aislesonly and worldbanker could work for me, but I won't be around SEA in Nov.

Sounds like a neat idea. SEA is just a short hop from here! Which dates are we gravitating towards?

The Murder Mystery is on Friday night 11/16/01 and starts at 6:30 pm. The cost is $74.99 per person and includes, dinner, train and mystery. This could be our Friday night get together and then do something less expensive for Saturday night.

How many are interested in the Dinner Train? We should probably make reservations ASAP to insure a spot.

I am so bummed. November is a really bad month for me. I am leaving for Burma on the 16th of November so I wont be able to attend the third annual Seattle gathering. Seattle would be a fun one. Count me in the next time you Seattlites decide to have a get together.
