Anyone in Frankfurt on May 3rd?
I'll be visiting with Lufthansa in the afternoon of Thursday May 3rd but have some free time for lunch and/or perhaps that evening. Love to talk 'miles and more'.

Luckily I am in FRA on that day so a dinner with you would be nice . Just let me know where you stay and where we might be able to meet. If you would like to know any other places than FRA airport for food and so on I might have some alternatives for you (like a good restaurant in Knigstein/Taunus) for ex. I have a car from national so driving wont be aproblem. Just E-Mail me.

All are welcome and it would be great if you did join us. We are planning to meet at the Movenpick which is opposite Opernplatz at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening May 3rd. Guests, and other FlyerTalkers throughout Europe are welcome. And besides, it will be my honor and privilege to buy the Guinness. I will be bringing goodies such as FlyerTalk luggage tags, caps, t-shirts and pins on this goodwill tour.....
Cheers....

I would love to be in FRA myself, but if you need restaurant recommendations, I recommend
Weinhaus Bruckenkeller, Schutzenstrasse 6, Telephone 28-42-38
German specialties served in an arched cellar with candle lit tables and strolling musicians. The wine cellar contains over 180 German wines. It's my favorite in Frankfurt.
Here's a description from Excite:
BruckenkellerThis fine German restaurant specializes in seasonal delicacies such as white asparagus in the spring, venison in winter and fresh strawberry desserts in early summer. Popular with trade-fair guests and for good reason: Service is excellent in the vaulted cellar, and the food is top notch. A prix-fixe menu is available for 80 DM. Open Monday-Saturday 6:30 pm-midnight (open Sundays during trade fairs). $$$$. Schutzenstrasse 6, phone 284-238.

thanks, that looks like i may have to stay longer to enjoy it. I love those types of restaurants and maybe we stroll over there after the Guinness I promised everyone at the Movenpick.....Another reason why I love this board - i always have friends wherever i travel and i have all the restautant reviews i could ever ask for. Thanks to all, i hope your own travels are as enjoyable as this one looks to be.
