Looking For Company In MCO
I realize I'm not a familiar name or poster under the general forums. As an airline employee, I'm sched to spend the day(s) March 9, 13 and 26 in MCO; arriving late the nights before and leaving early the following mornings.
Although I am not a bona fide frequent flyer I am still most interested in breaking bread, swilling beer and/or chatting the night away with other members of the FT crowd who live or will be in the area on these dates.
johna convinced me that a common love for aviation, from all aspects, is the perfect foundation and a legitimate excuse for any FT contributors to get together. Converted by that advice, I've found the courage to make this posting.
Anyone around on these dates?

If I had more money for the overnight, I would swing by there on my way back from Fisch's YVR event.
You are the kewlest A Flygirl! It would be good fun to hang out with you! BTW, where is MCO? (sorry - I have a terrible memory sometimes)

Well, I'm not going to be around those days, but you wouldn't want a date with a snake anyway.

Hey...don't sell yourself short low rider. I've slither with the best of them - and will admit to being discovered coiled up and snoozing under a table in the local watering hole at closing time. Just snuggled up against the rest of my cold blooded colony seeking warmth. Man did we have fun getting there.
A story you might appreciate. I used to get shipped off to summer camps every year when I was a pre-teen. They were always outside of my home city, in a rural forested area. I got thrown out of two of these camp programs for hunting and capturing snakes after dark and throwing them into the boy's tents. Man could they squeal. The boys I mean; not the snakes. Unfortunately other camp residents were evicted during these seasons because I had talked them into being accomplices to my nightime forays. I ended up being delivered to my doorstep before the camp season was over and swore to anyone who would listen that my early arrival home was not due to anything ethically wrong, frivolous behaviour or a crime against nature while I was gone. I was just misunderstood.
snake, can you relate to this?
Back from the past to today; who can answer my original post? I promise I don't hunt or hurl snakes anymore. Is that reassuring to the hesitant?

I've never met a Canadian I didn't like. (Of course, I've only met about 20 or so . . .)
If I wasn't stuck in ANC, I'd be in MCO
best regards,
