I am a first hand witness (Düsseldorf, nov-2000), that gaucho100K likes flamed curry-wurst and, what is even worse, he tries everything (even sending flowers to unkown ladies across the Restaurant) to seperate happy couples!
and yes, he is so handsome (read Punki's post above) I will never ever bring Gisela to another Flyertalker-event if gaucho100K will be there too - I don't want to take any risks in my partnership!

But Punki, some of us men DO worry about make-up and jewelry. I for one am always worried about how much make-up and jewelry Honeybaby is buying and how it drains my wallet for that "rainy day" flight!
As for flames, I like mine low under a nice piece of Chilean Seabass please...

My dear Punki,
Much as it pains me to disagree with such a sagacious and commonsensical sister, I must humbly take issue with your contention that men are difficult to understand. While it is certainly true they are strange creatures, they are also simple ones, and decoding them generally takes a matter of seconds.
Disclaimer: I have never met Gaucho, so I cannot say for certain that this applies to him.

Let's see - he writes beautiful trip reports, offers insightful conversation, has a wonderful career, and NOW I understand he's so handsome men leave their wives at home? Hmmmmmmm - I shall flame him for not changing his schedule to coincide with mine so I can meet this wonderman
I can confirm that in Chat last night Gaucho asked tongue in cheek why he was never the object of any flame wars. So a gag thread was hatched.. I tried to explain that he was so endeared it would never work, but this is much more fun

not knowing if it is ok for me to join in the roast but...
How about the time when Gaucho posted the exact same thing 4 times in the Cat Man Do III thread. I mean, what's up with that?

Holy cow...!!!!!
One minute I was typing away at the Mexicana lounge at Monterrey, the second I was daring Cigarman to start a flame war, and the third I had to run to catch my flight....
Thanks to Cigarman & the others for their great sense of humour !!!

PS: Cigarman, dont mess with me or I will have my Godfather Fidel cut off your supply of Havanas. Got it..?
