What do you think of this?

I got this emailed to me today after my other post titled "How Does American Do It?"

What would you do?

Hi,

My name is , and I'm a reporter with The Wall Street Journal
Online. I saw your post on FlyerTalk, and was hoping you'd be willing to
talk with me about all the problems associated with AA.com. I've got a call
into them, but I want to compile a list of complaints and issues from
frequent flyers regarding the site and the herculean efforts you're making
to try to get someone there to address all the technical glitches.

Please e-mail me back with your name, number and a good time to reach you.

Thanks in advance for your help, and I look forward to speaking with you
soon.

they have e-mailed Flyeratlkers in the past. I have talked to them once or twice.

They sometimes use quotes from Flyeratlkers for their articles.

You have to do what you are comfortable with though. Have fun!

I'm glad to see that they want the opinion of someone who deals with it all the time.
It makes the comments in the article true.

Tasman, I've never been contacted by WSJ (for travel related stuff at least). But, I believe Jane is the editor/reporter/whatever who writes all the travel articles...

I've been contacted by Jane Costello as well. While I've offered to talk with her, she has yet to call me back. However, given my family's experience with the media it's just as well.

Jane printed my poem about the fish video about a year ago .

Never underestimate the power of the press. Talk to her and watch how quickly the AA site is fixed

koko, I've got this really cool bridge for sale... you interested?

I do admire your optimism though.

Really, geo? An entire bridge? Why I could set up a toll and make my money back in days. I would be VERY interested in hearing more about this exciting investment opportunity.

BTW, yes, telemarketers do love me.

I'd say go for it, BTW it's nice to see that the board is seen as a real knowledge base on FF!
