SFO Gathering - A Thank You
I would like to thank all of you that came to SFO to join Rudi and me for dinner. Many of you congratulated me on winning the contest, but what I really won was dozens of new friends.
Some of you walked, others took mass transit or drove, and the rest of us flew (and collected yet even more miles) to Dgolds' home and then to dinner. It was all wonderful.
You all made my first planned FT event a truly wonderful experience. (My actual first quasi-FT event was the Secret Society of Flyer Talk Women, but that was an impromptu gathering.) Can an ORD gathering be far behind? Well, it does have to be after winter is over. But the idea inspires me.

Comicwoman,, I've been wanting to meet you for quite some time, so I would have been there even if I hadn't already had a meeting to attend in the Bay Area that weekend. And you and Rudi together...you're a pair to draw to.

Next time I plan a party, I'll have to plan it on a night when I am not already committed to something else.
I think too much travel unravels the brain.
I did very much enjoy seeing you and Rudi and everybody else at breakfast, however, and look forward to a Chicago party. Joe says hi.

Glad to hear it was a great time, sorry to have missed you and the illustrious Rudi again. The Red Green get together was just to good to miss.
