Rudi, if because of illness and general craziness of our lives we didn't participate in Round 1, is it too late to start now?

Great contest, by the way.

ok Nanook - you just broke my heart. New participants, entering with round two only, will have a seperate ranking and there will be some prizes 8swiss chocolates, etc) for them as well

Ok Rudi, is there a way we could have a separate contest for a closed book (thread) test. Maybe at the next PIP we could do this.

I did this one from memory (guesstimates--not an English word so forget the dictionary) first time around and got more than half right. Funny thing is that there are only 5 answer/people that I haven't met face-to-face, and I got 4 of them right without checking the boards. Oh I can't say any more or I'll give too much away.

Thanks for a fun exercise for an old mind. They say it is a good thing to do a mental exercise everyday to keep the mind in shape.

Rudi, I'm with Nanook! Thanks for letting us in, if only partially.

This has been even more prestigious than getting to be an answer on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", so I will stop trying to achieve that.

I'll be sitting on pins and needles until the results are posted. And tomorrow night, I will be sitting at a Tina Turner concert.

I'm soooooo jealous Comicwoman!

Rudi: you need to get out to Wengen and clear your head. Don't let PremEx have all the fun.

Here are the standings after round 2:

1st rank (having answered all questions of both rounds correctly):
BizJet
BlondeBomber
bokich
Comicwoman
Flying Dutchman
Indurain
MileCrazy
Punki
RKG
ThirdDegree
Weez

2nd rank (having answered only all questions of either round 1 or 2 correctly, and didn't participate in the other round):
CaliforniasCentralCoast
islandcub
MileageAddict
nanook
Rae
TravelWeary

No wrong answers received until now - bravo

Round 3a
Please list the Flyertalk-aka's of all OMNI-prize-winnners so far (including winners of the former emmeth-roberto-etc price as the OMNI prize was first named in 1998).

Final Round 3b (the best guessings will be used to differentiate between otherwise same ranked 'competitors')
please guess the amount of FlyerTalk-postings Catman will have achieved per wednesday, june-7, 7:15AM swiss-local-time. If FlyerTalk will be down at that time, than I will just take the last number of Catman's posting I did read personally before the board went down as the correct answer.

All answeres for round 3a and 3b must be sent by email to [email protected] until wednesday, may-24, 11PM, swiss local time.

Rudi, the tie breaker is a great idea. And Catman's ethical standards are such that he would not conspire with anyone to 'fix' the results.

Rudi: In addition to the several-times-a-year individual Omni awards, a large list of FlyerTalkers were also given Omni awards. Should we include these people too? Many of those people also received individual awards later.

Thanks for the clarification,

BizJet

comicwoman, you are so right. I already tried to bribe Catman with Kibbles and Bits, and Meow Mix and all sorts of other feline delights, and he flatly refused all my wiles.
Guess I'll jut have to rely on luck.
