Flash! QuietLion, Hunnybear move to LA!
It's a good thing we didn't pick one of those location-specific handles. After 19 years in Seattle I'm following Hunnybear down to SoCal, where she has just acepted a primo management consulting position with an Internet startup.
So long Seattle friends...look out Baywatch!

Brother and friend Mr Lion and dearest sister Hunnybear: I wish you well on your move.
HEY! once you get settled maybe I can be convinced to come otu and celebrate your new adventures in L.A!!!
And do me a favor... Please wish for a tidal wave to wash all those plastic syllacone Baywatch idiots away (I wanted to say the B word but it might get deleted!)

Hey Quietlion, I too live in So Cal (Studio City and also Seattle)... I commute via AS between BUR and SEA....do you guys know where you are going to live? Just an FYI...my favorite new grocery store is the Ralphs in Studio City, just a few blocks from my home.. you'll love LA. I do (ofcourse, I love Seattle too). It's weird to live in two cities...well, actually I work in SEA but live in LA...where my better half is.

Geo1004, I will be RUNNING on the beach!
Kokonutz, I will indeed miss Trish. I said goodbye to her Sunday. I trust the LAX angels are angelic in their own way, but nobody can replace TRISH.

QL, best of luck with the move & congrats to Hunnybear on her new job!
We must try to get together at some point soon.
My wife Jackie, who is also Canadian, has taken a management position with an internet start-up based in El Segundo. The only difference is that we aren't moving (just yet anyway). She's doing the PDX-LAX commute on the UA Sh*ttle every Mon-Thurs. And racking up tons of Marriott points since they've put her up at the Residence Inn to live.
Enjoy your runs on the beach...
