Christmas in Vegas

Hunnybear and I will be spending Christmas in Vegas. We'll be staying at Harrah's from Dec 24-27. Anybody else going to be in Sin City?

We'll just miss you, the wife and I arrive on the 27th for two nights at the Treasure Island. Is anyone going to be around in that time frame. ( 27th-29th ).

Cheers Scott

Hi QL. I just noticed on the Alaska Specials that they have $239.00 airfare to Cabo San Lucas from Seattle. Using my $50.00 companion certificate, free 1st class upgrades and a $199.00 per week Instant Escape suite condo, this would make a pretty spectacular holiday. Sounds like the kind of thing you would come up with.

Too bad we haven't gotten to the point where we can leave home at Christmas yet.

I'll be there at that time, on my quest for Elvis and some roast turkey sandwiches. Anyone else going to be hitting the buffet with us ?

Won't be making it back to Vegas before year's end - but I have some 2 for 1 coupons up for grabs. Probably too late to send them to a home address, but if anyone can use them, I can send them c/o your hotel (please provide the full hotel address in your email)

(All these are 2 for 1/ buy one - get one)

Riviera Comedy Club
The Great Radio City Spectacular (2)

Fiesta Buffet
Texas Station Buffet (several)

Ben and Jerry Sundae (several)
Ben and Jerry Ice Cream cone (several)

PLUS $7 off per entree at Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse (Sunset Station) and a buy one- get one entree at Rosalita's Mexican Cantina.

The first email will take them all.(toss away or share the ones you don't want.)

Well, I should have looked more carefully before I posted -- I've just came across a "2-for-1" for the fantastic Forever Plaid (at the Flamingo) It will be included with the others.

Hope someone can use them!

Staying at Bally's both nights.
Got tickets for Mystere at Treasure Island for my sister M and I on Christmas Day at 10:30pm. Only place I could talk my sister into going for a few days!

Would be delighted to meet any fellow FTers.
QL, you always write the greatest trip reports...

Darn, wish I had read this thread earlier. The family decided at the last minute trip Vegs (12/24-12/26). We were at Bellagio - fabulous place. We get front and center seats to the Cirque de Soleil show "O" (thanks to father-in-law's VIP status) on the day we arrived. The show, beside being an work of art, is also a showcase for its technical engineering. For example, the show is performed in AND on a 1.5 million gallon pool of water! For more information on O, see http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/piste/o/index.html
