Thanks for the good wishes! I'm sure I'll be climbing the walls during the recovery/vacation time I'm taking that week so you can be sure I'll watch this here board. Will also enjoy living vicariously via trip reports as y'all criss-cross the country during the holidays.

Cheers,

'toad

Hammertoad: I hope this "knife thing" is not serious... and you will be on a quick road to recovery and earning more miles.

IF you all want to pick this as a get together, set a few dates and see how much interest is with each.

I need to recover from the PIP and find out what 2000 holds career wise before I can make plans.

Don't forget to take the Street Car all through uptown for only $1 roundtrip.

Before 3/31 would be great... roundtrip fares are only $198 thanks to Southwest's sale matched by the real airlines...

Lion King... there are only two dates I think would be horrid:

*Mardi Gras (I have never been, and I want live to be old enough to tell all my adventure of Flyertalk to my grandchildren)
*March 17th to the 19th... the mega superpurrfectmeowywowee NYC Flyertalk blast!
HOsted by yours truly.

OK NAWLINS folks... pick a few dates and lets start debating.

(If you pick the weekend of April 9th... HOlly will be begging me to take her there for her birthday. (We spent her last birthday there) WHich is ok, but you all have to get along like my cats!)

Just wanted to make a suggestion of early March, maybe the 1st or 3rd weekend of the month? I'll be doing Family Med then, so I should be able to get away no problem. And, as QL has said, the airfares are looking good, $190 rt from PHL.

I can be there Feb 18-21 since I can take President's Day as a regular Holiday and not lose vacation time.

Hope you can be there Beckles and Nancy. Would love to see you both again!

I love to meet you there Rudi, in 3003, but by then I really will be too old!

By that time maybe even Nawlins will be too old for visitors.

We have no plans in the new year at this moment, so any date would be fine. Seeing that two folks have already offered up Feb 18-21, that might be the way to go ...
