Won't be able to make that one--my cert for 2 free weeknights at Sam's Town doesn't become valid until November.

let me know if having trouble getting a room that weekend is the only reason for someone to not make the trip. i may be able to get a couple more rooms comped downtown (lady luck, fitzgerald, or fremont). only problem --- no miles or points...

My wife and I will be arriving Friday early afternoon sometime and we are going to the Seigfried and Roy show for dinner that night. re: comped car -- sounds great. we can drive to the canyon gate country club (8 miles west of the strip) for lunch on saturday, and perhaps knock a few balls into their water hazards.

Vegas in October sounds wonderful. I have not been there in over three years (I used to go 2x a year to visit my money.) Don't know where I will be flying from, but I might be able to make it for the weekend.

Sound's good to me. My golf balls are able to find trees, sand and water, they are very talented. We'll wait and see how many people finally confirm before making too many plans. I'll check on getting the largest van possible for us.
