T Wind, we both live in the same area and I can certainly help with the plans. I posted a note to host a get together after the Boston Bash, but heard no interest. Orlando is fine with me. For all non-sun people,
the month of Feb is very good for MCO in there are fewer visitors and attractions are not filled(translate into long lines for rides.) However, I will go with the flow.

Always something to do in town at night like Church Street Station or Pleasure Island.

Hmmm... that sounds like a winnah, whenever the date may be.

Don't forget that Kennedy Space Center is only about 50 miles away from MCO as the crow flies. If the timing is right, you might catch a shuttle or an unmanned launch from the Cape... night launches light up the skies for miles around!

Orlando in February is terrific. However, if you want to avoid crowds, don't plan for President's Week which next year will be the week of the 20th to the 27th. How do I know? That's when Loving Husband, sons and I will be joining all those crowds. The weather that time of year is terrific though. Might even be warm enough for a swim if you are a brave soul.

Sorry to have let this lapse for so long but I have spent the last couple of months settling into my new job in Miami.

Let me know if this meets with everyones approval for a Florida get together.

Next September, yes, a bit further off than I had originally suggested, In Key West, at the Key West Hilton.

If this is an acceptable location, we can have a rate of $99.00 night.
