Internet booking

Quite new to this forum, I'd like to know if anyone could help me with a URL, which is able to book flights with "service classes".
I'm always in trouble booking flights on UA or LH, which both have different upgrade rules to business wether you book your flight in "B" or "Y" or other coach classes. Same problem with those "restricted business excursion" fares on all Star Alliance Partners. There is a "D" fare on UA and LH ("J" on AC), which is quite a deal - but no way in any booking system (to my knowledge) so far to get this class booked. Always get a "C" fare. Any Ideas out there ?

Wilkommen bernie!

For future reference, posting this message either in the United forum or better yet the Lufthansa forum will likely provide more (and quicker) responses.

But nathan's right; Rudi's really the guy you want to answer your question.

Thanks for your response, Bookich. I thought I'd be better in this forum (instead of UA or LH) because I'd like to know about a n y booking "machine" on the net, which allows looking for filghts and booking them in s e r v i c e c l a s s e s. I know that neither of the airlines mentioned does this.

Ok, I understand why UA/LH wouldn't be so good. For a more general question, how about The Buzz or General Travel Talk? After hanging around us for a couple of dayz now you're probably realising that FT Community is mainly for discussion of meetings, get-togethers, etc. I suspect that a lot more FTers check Buzz or GTT than FT Community and thus you're more likely to get a response in those forums.

Please don't interpret this as being unfreundlich; I'm just sharing tips on life within this crazy FT world!
