No Mileage Addict, you will NOT be dining alone at the Metropolitan grill.
E-Mail confirmation on the way WITH my Itinerary! I will be there, cat hair and all and I know a lot of people will be joining us. And if not http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif then we can have their steaks and wines and beers and deserts! http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif [This message has been edited by Catman (edited 08-12-1999).] |
Count me in!!! http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
The e-mail is already on the way, I'll firm up the itinerary with flights etc next week. Cheers Scott |
I've been holding off, but looking at what I need to do to make 1k this year, you can go ahead and put me down as a "Maybe leaning toward yes."
BTW, I've done the Boeing thing (the widebody plant) and it is AWESOME. And I've done the Tillicum thing. PLEASE NOTE: While there are alcoholic refreshments on the boat ride there and back, the Tillicum island itself is dry (I am ebarrassed to tell you that my "friend" smuggled a bottle of rum along in his jacket). My favorite seattle thing is the deal where you pay one cover to get into 12 bars with live music! |
Mileage Addict: I e-mailed you last Friday & got a message from Earthlink today that they can't send it. Just sent another e-mail. Let me know if it doesn't get there...

MileageAddict: I got another e-mail sent back undeliverable. Check your system, please.

Shadow,
I've got you on the list. Folks, don't forget to let me know if you are coming solo or with a guest(s). Thanks! ------------------ Addicted to airline miles? Check out: The Airline Mileage Workshop |
The emails are pouring in! Here's a recap:
Metroplitan Grill, Seattle on 9/24 at 7pm. The original time of 6pm has been changed to 7pm due to multiple requests. I'm sure we will be there for a while so don't worry if you show up late. I will contact the restaurant in the next few days to inquire about accomodating our group. They regularly cater to large groups. I will post a list of attendees here in another week. Email me if you would like to attend. ------------------ Addicted to airline miles? Check out: The Airline Mileage Workshop [This message has been edited by MileageAddict (edited 08-13-1999).] |

I'll be back in Seattle/Redmond from 8/28 onwards - so I'd prefer that we meet after that. The Metro Grill sounds great. And I'll chase down Rudi to shake hands with him during his brief visit to the emerald city.

Ok, We are FOR SURE doing the Metropolitan Grill for dinner Friday Night.
What is the Saturday vote: 1. A loose morning (maybe a walking tour of Queen Anne Hill.) 2. Noonish: a. Sailboat ride to Anthony's for lunch b. Walkabout at Pike Street Market 3. Evening: Hanging out in Pioneer Square A boat trip to Tillicum Village complete with authentic Indian Salmon dinner and entertainment. (I might just be able to get us all free tickets to this.) Sunday: A.M. 1. Crashing and ignoring all FlyerTalk Friends. 2. An alternative time for a walkabout tour of downtown. Oh, we never did think about the Seattle Center and maybe a Space Needle tour. Please respond! http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif |
Punki
That sounds awesome as Baze and I have to leave early Sunday morning for Pittsburgh. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif As Red would say: "If you can't be handsome at least be handy" Cheers Scott |
