Another List: Thanks, FlyerTalk Friends!
In four months on FlyerTalk, I have gotten some great tips that have helped me get free travel, collect more miles, and have fun while on the road. I wanted to start a thread to say "thank you":
1. Thanks, Matt Wald for the great tip about transferring miles from a hotel program (Marriott) to an airline program (UA); without your tip, I wouldn't be going to Australia this winter.
2. Thanks, pgupta011, for helping me rework my credit card "strategy." (The Diners Club card is on the way.)
3. Thanks, QuantumLeap, for organizing a fun get together in Denver earlier this month.
4. Thanks to several folks who posted the tip about receiving 20K miles for signing up for an AmEx SkyMiles card. Together with the 15K in bonuses I have gotten on CO for buying airline tickets using the AmEx card, that tip was worth 35K miles for a cost of $85.
5. Thanks, Rudi, for the fun picture of the Swiss tennis team; when I sir down at my desk, I am greeted by
6. And finally, thanks to many of you who have have posted on "Where to Eat" threads. I have had great dining experiences in Denver, Bethesda, and New Haven. Yum!
Anyone else out there who would like to say "thank you?"

I like to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time out of your busy and very interesting lives to talk to me, to meet me (for many of you) and for accepting me into this community despite my abundance of cat hair and quirks.
Not saying names for leaving someone out, but you all know who you are!
As I said, in my one-plus years on this board I have made more friends and had such fun times and felt more welcome somewhere then in all the jobs and all the schools I have been stuck in.
So before I start crying... have a MEOWY DAY!

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post but especially our hosts for making FT possible and to MileageAddict, Beckles and wanderlust for the info on 25k NW Sprint signup bonus miles, which really helped me personally with miles on the way. Specifc thanks also to those on the customer service side of the board who have helped me personally, MJW (NW), Adam (Hilton) and Julia (Hyatt).

Thanks to all who have helped with info since I first signed on in July. Thanks to Beckles for the Diners referral (BTW, got my card today). I thought I knew a lot about DL, but he's the champ! Thanks for everyone's acceptance, though I do tend to ramble sometimes. Not as bad as some though.. just joking doc
Looking forward possibly meeting Punki at PDX tomorrow, to Dock St. next week, dinner with Catman next week (oh Mr. Catman, your soap delivery is here!), meeting craig6z & auh2o? in Vegas next month, the SEA meeting in Sept., hooking up w/Beckles in MSY in Nov., etc. Just can't make the PIP, but maybe next year #/$%&!
Thanks, everyone!!!!!!!!!
