New to Boards
I am a newbie to the boards and to the world of frequent travel. I am a canon lawyer about to move to Leuven, Belgium for three years and will be traveling often to the United States and Canada.
Thanks for the tips I've already received!

OK. I'll be the moron. What, exactly does a "Canon lawyer" do? From the spelling, I assume it doesn't involve suing projectile hurlers.
The only canon law I am aware of involves the Catholic Church...can you get my mortal sins reduce to venial if I rat out my wife's sins???
Thanks,
Curious in Bethesda

Thanks for the greetings!
Just so as not to keep you awake any longer pondering the mystery of canon law, canon lawyers are "internal" lawyers for the Catholic Church. We do everything from annulments to purchasing hospitals to clerical sexual abuse cases. It's odd, but someone has to do it!
Good luck to you all on your frequent flyer quest....

Neat vocation! It's always nice to have some more good Catholics 'round here. Come on out to the PiP and join Rudi and I at the unofficial PiP Hawaiian mass!

We would love to break bread with you at the PIP as well. Or anywhere. Keep an eye on itineraries and see who happens to be at the same place and same time as you during your travels.
Glad you are here. Hope you enjoy FT as much as I do.
