Just boarded the first of 4 flights to OKA. Yes, one flight more than necessary for 1250 extra miles.

I...I'm morbidly curious. MAN-LHR-FRA-TYO-OKA ? Or did you get more inventive than that? I'm a simpleton this time around. IAH-NRT and back, HND-OKA and back nested in between.

Why should I go to LHR? I’m a Star Alliance flyer and there’s no *A flight from MAN to LHR. In fact no domestic *A flight in the UK. I’m flying MAN-FRA-MUC-HND-OKA.

I'm at the UA former IFC lounge in SFO, having a glass of Moet. UA 871 SFO-TPE is 6 hours from now. Flying RNO-SFO-TPE-OKA. Lounge is very quiet now, but will fill up as the morning progresses. Looking forward to meeting everyone soon.

SFO is a horrible airport. Today is a sunny, clear day. But last week there were storms and rain, and two days last week RNO-SFO flights were cancelled. The regional flights ae delayed / cancelled with bad weather in SFO, but the international flights leave on time! Unless I schedule a 4 hour layover in SFO, I am rolling the dice. But to answer your question, yes they have proper glasses this time. That reminds me, I must go for a refill of the bubbles! Haha!

Onto my 3rd lounge of the day... in the QF F lounge where I just booked my ICN-OKA flight on jeju. Arriving at 7C 1802 at 15:45 the 29th.
Yes, I did a last minute swap TPE>ICN on the redeye. But will get to try out CX on the A359.

Landed in HND early. No wait at immigration. ^ Now waiting for my bag to come out.
P.S. Mine was the 7th bag to appear.
