Pudding has been playing with her gifts all day, she's currently passed out on my lap (I won't be moving anytime soon). Thank you Santa!

Really glad that the package arrived on time!!! I buy those treats from a local dog "bakery" the same day i plan to ship so they'll be super-fresh..and haven't met a dog yet that doesn't love them.

Edited to add- finally able tor right-click on those pictures today. TJ is ADORABLE!!!

Right click and open in a new tab...I can't get the images to embed. Flyertalk is a little behind the times on that bit of functionality.

Thank you Tugger!

We helped Chai open her present yesterday and she absolutely loved her new squeaky snowmen and Santa toys. The Starbarks squeaky will be a perfect accompaniment to her iBone when we hang out yuppy puppy style on the patio of our local coffee place.

We are saving the Zukes for next week as she is currently having a bit of trouble from overindulging over the past few days (neighbour's kids were apparently feeding her human food as treats when the adults were not looking)

Will post pics as previously promised when she is not so poorly.

Sophia and Jackson were able to open and play with their toys yesterday. Thank you to their Secret Santa. They love new toys and treats and things that fly in the air that they can chase. Sophia and Jackson had a Meowy Christmas!

Sophia is the long hair kitty with a gray face and Jackson is the handsome short hair kitty with white feet.

Collective Cats (Washington, Hershey & Twinkle) wish to thank their Santa for the assorted toys, and Washington especially thanks you for sending catnip instead of complicated contraptions designed to make his meals more challenging.

Lily wishes to thank her Santa for the toys and crunchies, but remains concerned over the Freudian implications of the catnip stuffed CATS she received.

Sammy cookies

Sammy loves his peanut butter chocolate cookies, of course. And he's a big guy so he appreciates getting two very full boxes of them. And the tough Kong toy will be one he doesn't destroy, but he'll try . I was so busy I forgot about checking for Sammys gift, so I was super pleasantly surprised when it came right before xmas. Sammy sniffed the box and knew it was for him, but I made him wait til xmas am when his sister, my daughter Lia, helped him open it. Yeah, we gave him cookies for breakfast, he was so good waiting til xmas without tearing into his box

I hoped the Kong would be one he wouldn't destroy! I should explain, the cookies are carob, so they are dog safe.

Ha ha

yes, yes, that would be terrible to send a dog chocolate, and here I said that. Had to chuckle. We have always fed our dog everything, so he won't be sensitive, including avocado, nuts, veggies, all that they say is bad, but he continues to tolerate well, and if not we eat carrots together or I put carrot shreds in his food, which clears him up immediately. But even with that I draw the line at sweets, maybe a little pinkie tip corner of something just so he gets a micro taste of it, and our big guy handles it no problem, so it didn't occur to me that stating they were carob was essential. Ha ha, thanks for clearing that up, I can imagine most reading and being a bit horrified thinking bad Santa 🎅 still chuckling 😄

Very thoughtful

thank you for the kong too!! I am very careful about what toys he gets and I should note that kipper sent the original, biggest Kong they make, which is truly indestructible. Most I have to take away as he disseminates them, so he doesn't eat any bad parts, like the squeaker. I pretty much gave up on trying to find inexpensive toys for him. Very surprised at this thoughtful and knowledgeable gift

Now that Lilly and Justice's human mommy can breathe again (who needs to breathe- completely overrated right? LOL) and walk without feeling like she's about to die- I will say thank you to their Santas for their gifts. I'm at work, but plan to open the whole kaboodle tonight when I get home and take pictures.

Last night, before heading to bed (theraflu induced coma anyone?) I opened one box of LOVELY treats (Turkey for Justice, I forget the flavor for Lilly) that they both adored. Lilly, of the feline variety, is very particular about all things in her domain. She's never been a treat girl. Now she comes to the shake of the bag. I must get these again. Also, she got the Churu sticks of lore, but I have not given her that yet. I will give it to her with breakfast tomorrow and see what she thinks.

Oh! And there was a paw shaped laser pointer toy for Lilly. We have not yet played with it, but now that I'm on the mend I intend to give it a whirl this evening. Again, this isn't everything, but I'll update with pictures again tonight or tomorrow AM.

Hubby retrieved the packages and said "jeez, you do know Christmas is over, right?" with the sheer number of boxes he had. I looked at the labels and said "these all say Justice and Lilly....they're for the girls!" Apparently, that made it okay

Justice is a big girl (95#) and strong jawed. We have had good luck with toys made of firehose material and Tuffy brand toys. She has 3 Tuffy toys, the firehose pull toy, and a Kong ball (it has a handle so she can 'carry' and 'toss' it herself) since she was a baby and she's turning 3 now. All still intact. The ball has gotten daily use, the Tuffy toys nearly daily use. Ironically? She does not prefer Kong or Nylabone- not that we give her Nylabone, but she shows no interest in them at the pet store.
