For today, Esquireflyer has setup a lunch/tea time at the Grand Hyatt tea room at noon. Details are in the wiki post and the price is something like 30 or 50 SGD with an all you can drink champagne option
If there is interest in Johor Baru, plan on meeting in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt at 10:15 am. |

Got it…thanks. I didn't know if that was an alternate or replacement for the Marina Sands area. I am going to explore the city for a while and will miss everyone for lunch. If we are getting together for drinks around Boat Quay or elsewhere this afternoon, then I will see everyone there once a location is decided.

OK! Tea reservation has been made at 10Scotts for everyone who has PM'ed me up to this point.
Any others are welcome to show up also and see if there is additional space in the tea room, although I can't guarantee space for people who have not yet PM'ed me. We'll do our best though. 12 Noon at the 10Scotts tea room / lounge in the Grand Hyatt (on lobby level). Please be on time so that we can meet at the front and be seated together. If you show up late, look for us inside. Price is slightly higher today (weekend pricing), so it's 55 SGD+tax for regular tea service (including food), or 85+tax for tea service plus bottomless champagne (until 2:30pm). |
Thanks! BTW just to be sure, anyone know of any dress code? Web site says smart casual, so I assume shorts are ok.
