747 posts
So I just realised that my next post would be my 747th. Thought that was quite cool to see "Posts: 747". A tribute of course to that great aircraft of the same number. The problem is that I now have a strong disincentive to make any more posts as it will knock my post count off this magical number. 757, 767, 777 and 787 posts will not top this gold standard.
Ideas, plans, plots and words of comfort welcome. I had thought that I could simply make every further contribution to FT by editing this post.
That is all.

At least you didn't stop at 717. That plane sucked.
I'm partial to the 727 myself. My whole start in this FF game began with a weekly MCI-ORD commute on AA. Almost always on a 727, with the rare Fokker 100 mixed in. Still love it when I see one operating somewhere (usually hauling cargo).

I guess you didn't notice when you blew thru 707 or 720. Years ago some of my pilot friends would always call out "Airplane Time" when they noticed a clock displaying a relevant time and Airbus qualified too - 310 (a real pig), 319, 320, etc. Small pleasures back when the PAA 747 had a great sterling silver tea service in F.

Did you totally blow off post 744 - the best 747 to date?
No matter...one more post will put you at 748, the future best 747.

One I didn't notice at all was 737, never liked how that thing looks. For some reason the windshield looks like a rodent wearing glasses to me...But if I go down this route, how could I celebrate the 77W, or my favourite version of the 747, the 74M?
Anyway, now at 748 posts.

Probably will be now.
Though I've never used the 757 or 787, and don't intend to use the 787 either.

Actually, the idea came into my head when I got to post 744!
