Frequent Flyer Mastermind sessions?

Hi all,

I see a bunch of Flyertalk Meet-ups posted on the home page, but nothing specifically on Frequent Flyer Mastermind sessions, specifically for helping newbies along.

I joined mastermind sessions for my real estate investing journey several years ago and working with like-minded ambitious investors helped me along...learning from other people's experiences, sharing best-practices, etc. I now have a large real estate portfolio as a result.

Just throwing it out there...do these exist for the world of Frequent Flyers? I mean, do sessions exist out there to teach the ropes for newbies?

I'm intrigued by all this now because my business trips have gone up considerably of late so now achieving SE status is within reach...but of course, I am still learning the ropes and would love and appreciate guidance along the way...

Any FF's out there willing to share their tricks...? over coffee? over beer? over free dinner? LOL

By the way, this is a serious post :-)

Periodically there's a Chicago Do where they do exactly what you describe. I know a few people who have gone and the reviews are mixed but generally positive.

As for sharing tips & tricks over beers - arrange a Do! People will come.

I'll seriously consider that once I finish this business trip. Good to see you're in YYZ as I'm from there too. :-)

As the Community Buzz forum is the traditional home of FT events and meetings this thread has been relocated to this forum for further input.

In addition to frequent Chicago Dos which are announced in this forum, there are annual Chicago Seminars. The next one takes place this weekend and is already full but look out for future events.

Frequent Flyer Mastermind sessions?

Frequent Traveler University? Some of the bloggers host that event, which always looks interesting but kind of expensive, also requiring advanced ticket purchases.
