HELP!!!
Hi all!
I am having a similar problem. My fiance purchased tickets on Kayak.com and he was routed to airfare.com (THE WORST SCAMMERS) for our honeymoon. He purchased them on his phone and put katie vs kathryn and accidentally wrote shor vs short for his last name. We tried to call airfare.com to change the name but the told us it would cost another 1700 which seems insanely expensive.
My question is for you is should we chance it? And try to work with my nickname and his last name off by one letter? There is NO way i am spending another 1700 on a minor mistake. I have no idea what to do?! If we don't go we are out the original 1700 and that makes me sick considering we have a wedding in two weeks.
Can anyone help?

I have flown itineraries with far worse misspellings in the past!!
If you want peace of mind, try calling the first airline of the ticket and see if they can fix it in advance (you can do this during check in, just leave enough time)!!

Check the cancellation policy for the third-party vendor. If you are within the cancellation period or within a period where there is a minimal fee, cancel and start again.
