This one starts in a week, July 11-20 (our first!):
Sort of a pre-honeymon RTW, on pre-devaluation US DMs (*A), with a rail - based leg: IAD - PEK - BKK* - SIN - BKK - SIN - BRU - IAD * = Thai Railways train from BKK to CM, then Bangkok Air (PG) from CM to BKK Can't wait! Not so much for the UA biz class, but the Thai (TG) and Brussels (SN) Airlines business class should be great! |

My first one, last march.
BOS-IAD-FRA-PVG-SIN-NRT//HND-HKG-JFK Blew the last of my UA miles on some classy travel! |
I also booked my trip fro YYZ to SYD which starts in 3 weeks.
this was what looked like last Nov. when I booked mine initially yyz-lga-jfk-cai-jnb (6 days) airline: US-MS jnb-bom-sin-syd (6 days) SA-SQ syd-pvg (5 days) CA pvg-mxp-bru-iad-yyz CA-SN-US in March, I changed it to: yyz-lga-jfk-cai-jnb (6 days) airline: US-MS jnb-bom-sin-syd (6 days) SA-SQ syd-pvg (5 days) CA pvg-can-cai-yyz CA-MS in April SQ changed the schedule which made my layover in bom pointless. I had 20 hours in BOM and 2 hours in SIN initially, the change they made gave me 10 hours in BOM and 12 hour in SIN, that we couldn't do anything in either cities, so I requested other options 1) A380 in J from BOM to SIN, 2) skip BOM, fly direct from JNB to SIN. I thought I asked too much, because I know they never release any of the seat for these 2 lines to Aeroplan. Surprisingly, both options were approved in 2 hours. I took option 2 ended up having 27 hours in SIN, later I noticed they put me in C instead of I, which means they bought me revenue tickets. |

My first one was last year. MIA-DCA-LAX-DFW-ICN-PVG-HKG-NRT-SIN-KUL-LHR-MAD-CPH-HEL-LHR-MIA
Got to ride on MH's A380 and JL's 788. Then earlier this year: MIA-ORD-MCI-DFW-IND-LAX-MIA-MXP-MAD-LHR-JNB-DOH-NRT-DFW. Tried the BA A380. More recently: DFW-NRT-SIN-LHR-MAD-LHR-JNB-DOH-JFK-LAX-ORD-MIA (still have the last 7 segments to complete) Craziest thing is 11 months ago, I didn't even know what a RTW was. The first one took me 4-5 hours to book. Now I can book 16 segments in <20mins with an efficient agent. |
