Rosemont (ORD area) Travel Expo DO, Sunday Jan 12; Hofbrauhaus afterward

Some of us have just decided to go to the Travel Expo and then probably to Hofbrauhaus afterward.

http://adventureexpo.com/Default.asp...5-223cd2db9ab2

Tentative plan is to meet at Rosemont Convention Center roughly at noon, see the exhibits for a few hours, then head over for some beer and German food.

Please join if you have time.

Several others have told me maybe by email.

Win,

What time do you think you would be getting to Hofbrauhaus? I know it depends on how the show goes, but roughly. Dinner or just drinks?

Confirming that I'm going to meet you at the Expo later. Probably not going to Hofbrauhaus afterward though.

I have never been to this Expo, so I don't know how long it takes. Arriving noon. KMA26 and I think polkacat have. Perhaps they could comment.

I am thinking 3 or 4 pm? Beers, then maybe dinner?

You could call my cell.

Based on the number of booths two years ago, my experience would say that walking around collecting brochures and talking with some specific exhibitors, allowing two hours or slightly more would be adequate. If one wants to listen to some featured speakers, more time would be needed.

Agree with KMA26. Also depends on whether how interesting the vendors are (e.g. I skip all the golf resorts).

Great minds think alike. I went to the travel show on Sunday and then for beers at the Hofbrauhaus.

Sorry I missed you.
