I'm about to leave for the airport and will have intermittent internet access while I'm away. (Yes, I'll write a trip report.)

I'm thinking about hosting in my building, Via6, which has a lot of good public spaces to hang out and a Tom Douglas restaurant (Tanaka San). It's on 6th and Lenora, close to several bus routes, 4 blocks from Westlake Station, and has a parking garage (entrance off Lenora). How's this location work for everyone?

Timing: Considering 4-6 pm, just like the last one, it seemed to work well.

Will this be a dinner event?

Think "happy hour"-ish, but yes, we all got food (and drinks) last time. We'll be meeting in the restaurant.

TanakaSan is a great venue; we had some really good munchies and drinks when we were back home last Aug ... not sure if I can get a kitchen pass for a couple hours, but I will definitely make an effort to show up

Well, the new year is in full swing, and everyone's settling back in to their routines (or forging new ones). How about another get-together, sometime after the Superbowl? Any dates work well in particular?

I'm out of town the week of Feb 10. Otherwise, any date should work.
