Memorial Day weekend
A couple of us are definitely interested in getting together for an event! My bf (fellow FT'er) and I will be in Chicago vacationing Memorial Day weekend so I looked up a few options that sound interesting...
Sat, 5/25 12-5, Beerfly Alleyfight
Sun, 5/26 10-2, Half Acre Beer Brunch
Sun, 5/26 11-2, Brewer's Brunch (theres a dart tourney too!)
Let me know if any of these peak your interest...
Sat, 5/25 12-5, Beerfly Alleyfight
Sun, 5/26 10-2, Half Acre Beer Brunch
Sun, 5/26 11-2, Brewer's Brunch (theres a dart tourney too!)
Let me know if any of these peak your interest...

A couple people asked me to choose, so here we are. This one looks by far the best for Thursday, 5/16/13. Doors open at 5, and that's when I will be showing up:
Village Tap
2055 W. Roscoe
Chicago, IL
Looks like best CTA stop is Paulina on the Brown Line (direction Kimball) and walk west .5 miles.
Attendees listed in Post #1.
"On Thursday we’ll be featuring beers from Firestone Walker and Jeffers Richardson, the original brew master and current barrel master will be on hand.
The following barrel aged brews will be available:
• Firestone Walker 16th Anniversary Ale; An American Strong Ale aged in Oak
• Firestone Walker Sucaba; An English style Barleywine aged in retired bourbon barrels
• Firestone Walker Double DBA; An Imperial Special Bitter aged in a combination of American Oak and retired bourbon barrels.
In addition, we will have the unfiltered DBA that is 100% wood fermented as well as several of the flagship FW brands.
Expect to find a few surprises as well as such stalwarts as:
• Three Floyds Behemoth and Dreadnaught;
• What could be the last remaining barrel of Bell’s Hopslam
• One of our favorites, Southern Tier Choklat, cellered for 1 year.
As always, supplies will be available as they last and any of the fabulous brews above not polished off on Thursday will be available on Friday and throughout the weekend."

Will you all be getting together for more events or will this one on 5/16 just be it?
