Today's "Parade" Magazine has a cover story on BBQ. Listed as one of the best newer places is Charlotte's "Bobbee O's" (Old Statesville Road).

Any FTers up for a BBQ Do in CLT sometime Mid August? (Tentative date 17 August.)

I am in CAE, but CLT seems like a nice central location for all.

That's enough to get this Do listed on the main Do thread - let's see if we get any last-minute additions...

If only I could... I could just hear the scorn if I used that as a reason... "She's doing what? I can't believe she'd travel there just for a get-together with people she's never met before..."

Some logistical info would be helpful, particularly re: the museum (which I am undecided on).

I am booked at the Courtyard by Marriott near the airport, by the way.
