Boston Do: May 22. Spring may be back!
Edited to add on 5/22/13 regarding time and weather: See link here.
Introducing the "the-weather-will-get-warm-eventually" Do for Boston, on May 22. Our last Do was an enormous success, raising over $400 toward spending on my credit card. This year, I hope to exceed that goal.
For the location, I'm going to select Kinsale for dinner again. They seem to be able to handle a crowd our size and we can hopefully get the outdoor patio. Obviously, we're open to suggestions at this point.
Added bonus: The first person to sign up below for this Do will officially be listed in the OP as the first person to sign up! How exciting.
Mike
ETA, 5/7/13: I have received a number of questions asking me about who pays for what and how.
In the past, we have always done it on the honor system. You keep track of what you owe, add in tax and tip (which is usually included in the bill due to the group size) and pay one person, who puts it on their credit card and earns the points. That person is usually the Do organizer, in this case, me, but I'm happy to pass the responsibility to someone else if they want/need the points or get a big bonus at restaurants.
The last time we did the Do, we were literally within a dollar of what the total should have been. That's how it should work. But I have no idea if everyone pays what they owe or if some made up for others.
So the most I can ask is to keep an eye on your order and try to pay the right amount. I've never ended up with extra at one of these things but, in the case that it happens, all extra proceeds will be donated to The One Fund Boston.

Please put me in the maybe column.
I was going to leave town that morning but haven't
bought my ticket yet. I presume this is a post-work
get-together?
