Fastest to 10000 posts

I'm wondering if anyone has ever gone through and tried to figure out what the fastest that anyone has ever achieved Evangelist is.

Even at 50 posts/day (which seems outrageously high), it would still take more than 6 months of daily posting with no break to achieve. I'm guessing that the fastest was probably in the 2 year range and the average probably closer to 6 years.

Anyone have any data and/or anecdotes about this?

Thanks!

There have been threads where, over the course of a few weeks, members have racked up thousands upon thousands of posts. If you don't really care about the quality of the content it actually isn't all that hard. See, for example:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/misc....sted&t=1126028
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/misc....sted&t=1001243
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/misc....osted&t=884884

For a while I was averaging over 50 posts/day not in that sort of thread. Yeah, that was more time than I probably should've been spending here but I enjoyed it. That said, I did spend my first couple years not posting very much at all so no way I'm near the fastest to get there.

ETA: Between July 22, 2010 and December 15, 2010 I had 5,444 posts.

I've not been here that long, but I've already had a "+1" post deleted by the mods (I assume because it was considered to be post count padding). I guess they can't catch everything, though.

Any other anecdotes from long time FTers?

I saw someone with posts per day in their profile stats (here on FT) -that user had around 10.00 in 2-3 months around 800 posts.

He might have been beat out by some members in the number counting threads in OMNI, back in the days those counted. I know one member got over 30,000 posts counting numbers in assorted threads and he may have hit those threads over 100 times a day. Here's two threads--the top poster in one of them has over 19,000 posts and the runner-up over 18,000:

Not only BBQ can slower often be better, though decorum won't allow me to say more.

IMHO it's hard to use the same yardstick to judge the different eras of FT as there have been several post count rule changes that have happened over the years and that will have had some inpact.
