No, as there's no way to purchase it legally.

So happy for you both! Now, just waiting for my cousin and his partner of 18 years to 'seal the deal'!

We debated whether to get our license now and do a justice of the peace wedding or wait until closer to our actual wedding date (July 2013) when all my family and friends will gather here on Bainbridge. As long as nothing comes along and threatens to shut down the legislation... we decided to wait until next summer.

Nice!

21 years together is a great accomplishment, and it is lovely that you can formalize it legally with marriage now. Well done!

Kansas is likely to be 10 or 15 years behind, but eventually I hope to get the chance to vote YES on a referendum like this. My hope is that by the time my youngest child (age 8) is voting age, this will be a non-issue nationwide.

Nice article, by the way.

Well, to agree with what David said in the article, it's about time! It's so wonderful that a love like yours can finally be officially recognized as a marriage.

Congratulations!

Now, this being FT, are you going on a honeymoon and, if so, where? And perhaps even more importantly for this community, and are you using miles or points for the trip? :D
