Bloomington, MSP Dinner DO Saturday Aug 18th
A group of Chicago FT'rs,consisting of myself, +1 & the happiness store are going to MSP this weekend to complete the quadfecta for the Club Carlson promotion. As you can imagine, we are staying at the Park Plaza in Bloomington, and will like to see if any locals will like to meet us for dinner. Not knowing much of the area, will like to have some good food and craft beer, I'm thinking on Town Hall Brewery?, or any other nearby similar place. Any takers, suggestions?

Well it turned out to be a very good time. We met a couple of area FTers and went to The Anchor Fish & Chips
This was followed by ice cream in Edinah.
Other highlights included seeing the same cyclist in a dress and boots both before dinner and after, a turkey walking beside I494, the Lincoln car show, and watching a woman's mother repeatedly not find the place while driving by it. It was a very good weekend.
Thank you to the locals who met us and guided us.

My wife & I are @MSP this weekend (8/25-8/27) doing the Carlson run. (one night in my name, the other in my wife's name). We will go to Mall of America & other sites.
We picked this coming weekend because we only have to connect once on AA awards (daytime flights and decent set of flights!) and MSP qualifies for the Citi reduced award plus 10% rebate (in miles).
I have been to MSP twice. I will study the MSP area thread for more ideas.
Too bad we missed a nice time this past weekend.
