Hello fellow DC travelers! Was in FTU DC last December but missed the post FTU get together. I see that there's a waitlist for the 23rd of Jan and was wondering if there's still room. :) Hope to get to meet everyone! :)

Can't make it this time around, but next time I recommend Ping Pong Dim Sum (Gallery Place) as a potential location. Good happy hour, and the bar area has a bunch of high tables. Great for big groups.

Been there, done that. I thought that Ping Pong was pricey for what you got.

I only hit the happy hour menu/drinks there, you are right about the regular menu. Topaz Hotel bar also often empty and another good place for big groups.

I'm just checking in to say that I'll keep an eye on the thread --- so if there are any last minute drop outs I remain willing to be a last minute fill in.

Wanderluster and Greg -- I've had a work "crisis" sprung on me and will have to drop out for 701. Sorry to miss the conversation and good food.
