Just got off the phone with them and we are on for 7:30 p.m. Reservation is under flyertalk. I told them 8 people, which is the best guess I had from the thread, but I am sure we can adjust slightly if need be.

We needed to change flights a bit but we will be there. Instead of at 545, our new flight arrives at 7. We will jump in the rental car and head right over to Sine but, as may be DCA Writer, are likely to be a bit late. Save two seats for us.

Unfortunately, I'm still completely swamped and don't foresee how I can get out of here in time to make it down for dinner. Simply too much on my plate tonight in the short week I'm back home before flying back out of country.

If I'm magically able to get enough done to get out of here by 5, I should make it in time for dinner; if not, I'll post back an official cancellation.

Also, a Hail Mary pass, but if for whatever reason anyone wants to buy a PointBreaks redemption from me for the Holiday Inn Chantilly-Dulles Expo, I've got one for tonight that I won't use if I don't come down. Otherwise, I'll cancel it if I can't make it down and no one wants it.

Sitting in ATL with a weather hold on DCA. Nothing is leaving and we are delayed at least 40 minutes. :mad:

So we wait and when we hit the ground I will call mhnadel and see what is happening. If the dinner is still in progress, we will come right over. If we are too late, there will be a next time. Really sorry to miss this one. :(

Good luck to monitor and frantic on making it in quickly. Weather here is pretty bad, too--it'd be a miserable drive down even if I could come. With the amount of rain here, I can understand why flights are delayed--it was so bad earlier we were crawling down the freeway at 45mph just because we couldn't see anything!
