I'd be interested as I live near Clarendon as long as I'm not traveling for work. Unfortunately seems like I'll be on the road much of the week for the next month or two.Originally Posted by ironmanjt
Unfortunately I haven't made the last several events, but would there be interest in a weeknight (Tue/Wed best) event in the Clarendon area? If so, I can coordinate....
Neither midweek nor Clarendon, but the DC Travel and Adventure Show is at the Convention Center next weekend (22-23 February). Tickets are 15 bucks at the door, but Goldstar has them for 5, plus a service fee.
I am planning on going on Sunday. If anyone is interested, either brunch beforehand or an afternoon happy hour would be do-able. It's a short walk to the Chinatown-Gallery Place / Penn Quarter area, which has numerous options.

Travelzoo has a voucher for this show - 2 tickets for $10, with no service fee.

It would for me on the 13th. In general, weeknights work best for me, but April is a pretty crazy month for a number of reasons.
