I might be able to make this too--need to check on schedules between my wife and her dad, who's visiting us this weekend. And yes, I can personally endorse Liberty's brunch menu from experience.

I'm not seeing anything else that looks very interesting, so let's confirm Liberty Tavern. And to accommodate various scheduling requests, let's go with an 11:00 am start time.

hi everybody, I've just stumbled upon this thread. Regrettably I can't make this event on Sunday (I'm traveling :). I'd love to know of future events, however. Is there an email list or anything to sign up for? Thanks for considering and good luck w/ the event!

I am still torn by schedule conflicts between homecoming on Saturday and family trip for weekend to NJ. If I can get away Fri, I will be back by Sat night, but .....

At the moment, no reservations around 11:00 am are available for a party of 6-8. However, according to the person I spoke with, if the weather is good enough to open up outside dining tomorrow, we should be able to get a table. I'll phone tomorrow morning (as the person I spoke with suggested) and post an update by 9:15 am.

I was able to make a booking for a party of 7, but at 11:30 not 11:00. We'll be dining outside as that was all that was available -- and the host taking the reservation told me it was weather dependent, but if everyone knows that in advance and dresses accordingly (though what our former Alaskan deems appropriate I have no clue:D), we should be fine.

The reservation is under my name (Davis).

Sorry I missed this. My wife and her dad were supposed to play tennis earlier in the morning, but they didn't head out until close to 11, and bringing Mini DCA writer along would have introduced a little too much chaos.

(Although considering how much our three-year-old enjoyed watching airplanes landing at National from Gravelly Point yesterday, maybe she would have appreciated the conversation.)
