I'll be out of town. Perhaps another time.

FlightNurse Aug 25, 2011 7:58 am

If this one goes well, another one will be planned in Early Nov, before the crazy holiday season starts.

See you next time.

November through Turkey day would work fine. Hopefully it will remain under 100 degrees by then.

The State Fair is from late October through early November, but I don't think I'd want to do a Do there.

What this? Is that different kind of flavor? I wasn't sure if there is a real bread.

Fry Bread is soft bread that is fried up - a flat dough fried in oil. You can eat it with honey or other toppings like cheese.

Its a bread from the Navajo Indians that is to die for, put honey on it, major YUMMY..

The people at the office having spoken ever-so-glowingly about the State Fair in Arizona as well. Some of us thought of going up to Iowa for that State Fair, but the thought of 1100+ miles in a CRJ quickly erased that thought. :D

Lets see, been to San Diego country Fair at Del Mar AWESOME..... Been to Indiana State Fair, awesome, AZ State Fair, just OK, but the food really is the star of the fair, but once night falls, all the gang bangs showing up really detracts from the enivorment. I would go to the Iowa State Fair, there has to be a way to get there without being on a CRJ for 1100 miles. Now what airline are you talking about? If its US, the CRJ 700/900s are getting FC..

The State Fair is fine for what it is.

I spent many a day in my youth there, including climbing over the fence when I was 10 or 11, and had no money. I even won a Wheel of Fortune Live event there in the 90's that among other things included a $5000 trip to Hollywood. <cough> My first encounter with the dreaded "Retail Value" type promotion.

Oh, and I caught a free T-shirt from Carrot Top one year. The older I get, the less inclined I am to go there. :)
