Anyone in MKE?

For various (overall good) reasons I'm moving to MKE. I don't know anybody in MKE. I don't even know people who know people in MKE ... so I thought I'd turn to FT.

Is there an MKE FT community? Searching the forums the most recent MKE related DO was 3+ years ago - is anyone still around?

I've hold a DO before and I'd happily do it again. Or at the very least it would be great to meet some people in my new city.

not local to MKE but always up for a Do in the MKE area.^

Having been to a number of Wisconsin Do's, there are a number of MKE FT'ers I recall meeting.

I live in Milwaukee and attended the Midwest Do held 2-3 years ago.

Let me know how if I can help.

And welcome to Milwaukee! Most people like it. Great people, fun summers, and (at least in recent years) an intensely competitive MKE airport.

Fantastic! Once I get all settled (another 1.5 months or so) I'll try to put something together.

I'm overall excited about the move. From what I saw of Milwaukee a few weeks ago (when I went to find an apartment) it looks like an impressive city.

I am in the MKE area. Attended the Midwest airlines DO.

I would suggest attending the Oct 29-30 DO in Chicago. It is a great event, only an 1.5 hour drive from Milwaukee.

I am in MKE often, especially when the weather is good.

Go to the following places in your first month:
- Palomino
- Sobelman's
- Zaffiro's
- Leon's
