AAdvantage dining is running a "Make it a Double" promo (registration required) to offer double AAdvantage Dining miles for dines through March 31st (first five dines in this period).

Those of us in Austin (or that will be in Austin) are setting up a Dining Do to meet FT'ers for miles. I'll update THIS post with dates/restaurants, and who's making the group reservation. We can schedule several and list who's who planning to attend. For those dines that require reservations, the reservations will close 1 week before the dine, additional folks can show up and be seated on an as-available basis. Initial suggestions:

Lunch (no reservations required):
Wednesday, February 9th - 12:30 PM - Russell's Bistro
Thursday, February 17th - 12:30 PM - The Screaming Goat

Dinner (reservations required):
Saturday, February 19th - 7:00 PM - Mushashino Sushi
Friday, March 4th - 7:30 PM - Austin Land & Cattle
Sunday, March 13th - 6:30 PM - Jorge's
Thursday, March 24th - 7:00 PM - Spaghetti Warehouse

Desert/Coffee:
Saturday, February 19th - 9PM - Lick It Bite It Or Both
Sunday, February 27th - 7:30 AM - Dominican Joe's

Looking at my travel schedule here are the ones I can do. I think I'd prefer to stick to higher dollar establishments for this one so that we can maximize bang for the buck.

Feb 17th - both - (love the Screaming Goat!)
Feb 19th
Mar 4th

I'd also like to tender the notion of hitting up J Blacks on one of these nights- love that joint, the food is great at the cocktails are expertly mixed!
