What are people's plans for 3-4 days in and around MXP? Just looking to advise my folks on good ideas.

so far it looks like my group is going to spend a day in Lugano, Switzerland; one day in Milan (gotta do the Gothic cathedral and hit Gucci, Prada), and I think the 3rd day will be in Monte Carlo or Nice.

Going with the financ 2/24 to 2/28 CO44&45. Star Gold.

My first TATL trip ever, and my first "tricky" fare. Couldn't be more excited.

I'd do Monte Carlo over Nice

How are you going to these places?

I've looked at some other cities, via train or plane, but most seem quite expensive.

Yeah, we were shocked at the sticker price of hotels in Monte Carlo, but the hotels in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin or Cap D'ail seem to be a bit more reasonable. I think we're gonna hit the train to Monaco the moment we land, this way we can rest a bit on the 4 hour train ride and be ready to go once we get to the casinos and pray we don't go bankrupt. The train ticket looks to be only $95 USD roundtrip, so not too bad.

For Lugano, I think we're just going to take the bus - it seems like its only an hour away, and this would be a day trip.
