Flyertalk Evangelism
Hi
Even though I've only been a member here for less than 6 months, every time I get on a flight, I want to spread the word about our great forum. Do we have an "official" card/brocure? I'm thinking one version that we could give to FA's and pilots, highlighting some cool threads we have and inviting them to participate?
Or is this the job of FT evangelists/ambassadors?

For a second, I mistook the title of your post...
For a second, I mistook the title of your post.... Once on a transatlantic flight, the guy seated next to me (a preacher) talked about the virtues of religeon for over 4 hours. being shy and respectful at that time, I listened (unfortunately, not quietly as he expected me to respond to his probing questions) patiently. Well, I was and am still an agnost and hours of one to one direct preaching failed to have an effect on me.
But, I have already been "converted" to Flyertalk and will preach its virtues to those who will have the misfortune of sitting next to me in my coming flights.

There should be something for this, but I doubt it. You're only 9,903 posts away from being an official FlyerTalk Evangelist so... post away! Maybe we should get credit for extra posts for signing people up to FT. Then it would look more like a loyalty program.

I will never be an Evangelist, nor have I ever been approached by another FTer due to my long yellow tag BUT I have had many many seatmates over the last 20 days of flying who have asked me a million questions about FT and written down the website for future reference.....
Since I have met them all on DL I will check to see if there are any new FT newbies I might recognize....
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays everyone!

Interesting posts re luggage tags, I'll go buy some soon I think. I'm typing this from the RCC at ORD (B6), and got an idea - what about a laptop-size decal? Would there be enough interest to do a group buy on CafePress?
