I have now added this to my calendar since I've forgotten the actual date three times now and had to return to this thread to look it up

It looks like I'm in town that week, so if anyone is coming into town Friday night and wants to engage in some pre-DO drinking, post to this thread and I'll see what I can scare up.

Can the host give us suggested start and ending times?

I may be able to do this, depending on the time.

Thanks

I am going to have to bow out of this DO.

Can't get anyone to commit to working for me on a Sunday. And my son has a soccer tourney that weekend.

Have fun everyone.

Boo!!! Removed from the Gate Lice List =( What about the Salzburg DO? You going to grace us with your presence off the Austrian Alps?

That is way too far in the future for me to know. We should get a new work schedule in January and I might be able to see what's going on by then. I love Salzburg and if I do go I'm taking the Sound of Music tour.

I won't know until 7-10 days before. I love DC, would like to go, but it is contingent on me working that morning...which means that by the time I get to Lauriol Plaza, I'll have been awake for ~14 hours. I might not be the life of the party, but I definitely want to come catch up with friends and make some more.

My schedule has changed - so I will be home that weekend. Please add me as a confirmed attendee.

FYI - on the DCA PC - last time I spoke to the folks in the club - UA is looking to move over to CO area - so that would mean that the PC would survive. They are looking at ways to expand the club. But this won't happen overnight. The dual clubs and dual gate areas will likely continue for sometime. There really is no connecting traffic between CO and UA flights at DCA - which is pretty much a o/d city (except for some connections at US). Going to the PC on Sat afternoon is the best option - both free booze and better view.

Put me on the list. If work permits, I may wind up in LAX that weekend. Apologies.

DCA is the best for in town arrival. Unless the ticket price is more than $50-75 to DCA than IAD or BWI - pick DCA.

Thanks cova. It also looks like a nice one stop hop into Dupont Circle on the Metro. If I can get moved in time, this may be a winner. :-:
