So I guess we will have a three day birthday party then @:-)
Thanx everyone for your posts and PM. It's great to see such a huge interest. Hopefully we will hit the 100 [interested] attendees!?!
I'm currently working on the DO calendar. The first post will be updated soon.

* a huge number of attendees (more than 50) is very, very difficult to handle
* only 1/3 to 1/2 of people on the interested list are likely to finally sign up for the DO (personal experience) - see recent star mega do for example.

Can I second this ... you should start looking around for venues now to get an idea for how large a party can be supported. Not to sign a contract, but just to see what's there. Neither you nor your guests want to pay for a rubber chicken dinner in some hotel or no-name place because it's the only place that could handle a large group. You are much better off getting an idea of what is out there, then setting a maximum for some of the events (and collecting money up front).

1. I am not male/female. I am male.
2. Being happily divorced, I have no other half.
3. I have met many of the other FTers who will be attending and look forward to seeing them again.
4. I have long wanted to visit Prague and doing so with a bunch of FTers makes it even more fun.
5. You should attend because you are a Norwegian woman, which hopefully means you are a blonde, and there can never be enough blondes at a Do.

Add me to the interested list, I was in New York 2 weeks ago where the Prague Do got mentioned and when I got home thought I would have a look into it.
Qantas flies to Frankfurt daily, can you catch a train to Prague from Frankfurt.
+1 on what f0zzyNUE said, always good to have some prepayment via Paypal, and set a number of attendees with the size of the restaurant.
I wouldn't have looked at this thread unless some Fters hadn't mentioned it.
Just to answer some of your questions, 1. Male, 2. Single, so no other half, 3. I have met more than half previously more than once and in different countries, and they aren't too annoying,
4. Prague is a place I have thought about going to but never had a reason to go, 5. You can leave the other half at home and just turn up yourself, there is a lot of talk about miles and travel so if this does not interest you then maybe you shouldn't turn up.
June 2010 I was in the USA, June 2011 I plan to be in Europe.

Out of interest... How many of the people are male/female? Do you bring your other half with you? Do you have any connection with any of the other flyertalkers here (like in pm's or "real life")? What make/made you decide you want to go? And at last... Why should *I*, a married woman, attend? As I said, I am only curious on this and don't want any "fight", just a friendly chat.
Xxx.

Can all details be worked out THAT far in advance (hotel location, ground transfers, airline schedules which'll assuredly change by then, etc.)? FT people generally plan ahead of time, but to have registration that far in advance makes me wonder what could be so sure so far in advance. Even I, an early planner, wouldn't put down money and registration that far in advance.
