Only if you don't attend the dinner. And if you're leaving on Sunday morning you won't need a hotel because I suspect the dinner will last until then.

Newself and Jeanne are out for this trip. Too much going on at work for me to leave so early in the year.

Tentatively, baclubflyer will be arriving UA 895 (arrive 2345 on Jan 14), and I will be arriving on CX 715 (arrive 2345 on Jan 14), all from HK.

We plan to join only for Saturday dinner and drinks.

Thanks for organizing.

FWIW, I vote for name tags with both first name and FT handle in large letters.

I'm arriving fairly early and am possibly interested in a pre-DO dinner that someone mentioned. I'm likely to skip the curry lunch and the boat trip but otherwise participate in everything. How strenuous is the canopy walk (in heat and humidity)?

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: CHANGI TOUR

Folks,

My apologies for the late notice but I just received word from Changi that they would like to move the Changi Tour from 2.30pm on Friday to start now at 9.30am.

This may actually work out better as it will allow us to fit more in with UA etc.

I apologise if this means that now some of you won't be able to attend.

Airport Passes will be given to you all on Fri morning. I will be at Starbucks in T2 from 9am onwards. You will be able to tell who I am due to the amount of paparazzi and glamour models beside me

MEETING PLACE:
Terminal 2 - Starbucks
Tour time: 9.30am - 11.30am
Date: Fri 14 January

What You Need To Bring:
Your passport. Copies will not be acceptable.

I am good for dinner Saturday night, canopy walk and not sure what else yet. Have cousin in SIN I want to see sometime during that W/e.

I don't arrive in SIN until 0045 on the 14th and likely won't get to the Conrad until 300 so not sure I will be up for the Changi Tour....

Really disappointed. This was one of the highlights of the trip for me.

Well, if one of you staying at the Conrad would be willing to make sure I am awake by 7am and will split cabs with me back to Changi, it might just happen.....

The events and attendees list should be current. Please PM me any info that I'm missing from the attendees thread and I'll add it in.

Also, I'm going to order a ton of the stick on name tags and get enough extras since they're one time use. I've got most people's first names, and will PM those who I'm missing them from so I can print them out over the weekend.

Easily Fixed. See below

Half Bottle Vodka
1/4 cup tomato juice
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Worcestershire sauce to taste (ie half cup)
Tabasco to taste (ie 2 tablespoons)
1 celery stick for garnish (waste of space if you ask me)
1 lemon wedge for garnish (see comment re celery)

In a large ice-bucket, combine the vodka, the tomato juice, the lemon juice, the Worcestershire sauce, the Tabasco, 1 cup ice cubes, and salt and pepper to taste, stir the mixture well. Might be a good idea not to touch mix with bare skin. Keep away from naked flames.

Drink quickly. Repeat

eightblack - I will be able to attend the Changi airport tour at 0930 Friday. Like gfowler-ord-1k, I arrive @ 0020 Friday Jan.14 UA875. I will be spending the night at the Transit Hotel T3, so this will not present a problem for me. When you mention meeting at the Starbucks T2, I assume you mean landside (outside security).

What seats are you people in? Appears to be a party flight.
