The FlyerTalk Trivia Corner
Here is a new feature with which FlyerTalk members can either answer an existing question posted in this thread, or post a new question regarding trivia pertaining to FlyerTalk, its history and its community.
The answer to the first question was told to FlyerTalk moderators in Munich yesterday by none other than Randy Petersen himself:
What is the origin of the name FlyerTalk; who came up with the name, and what was the inspiration behind the name?
Those of you who were in Munich yesterday, please refrain from answering.
Have fun!

Well, the Capitalized F and T in FlyerTalk can probably be blamed on the earliest creators of personal software; I don't know if it started with DataPro and MicroPro in the mid 1970's or if the disease goes back earlier. Ever since then everything in computers has to have those infernal capitalized internal letters... VisiCalc, WordStar, QuickBooks, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, FlyerTalk, etc.

What was the inspiration for the name House of Miles?
While Randy Petersen told me the definitive answer to the question above, he said that he did not recall who actually came up with the name House of Miles. Does anyone have the answer to this question as well?

Wild guess: this restaurant in Los Angeles?
Even if that's not correct, now I've hopefully made everyone hungry for pie.

So on a mission for a slice of said pie this week (Monday October 26th 2009 to be exact) I discovered a big, red sign on their door that said "Closed for Health Code Violations".

The original address of the House of Miles in Colorado Springs, Colorado was not 1930 Frequent Flyer Point, as it currently is today.
What was the original address of the property, and how did it manage to successfully get the address of 1930 Frequent Flyer Point despite great difficulty?
