My First MR

Thanks to all of you on FT to opening my eyes to the wonders of Traveling like this. Today was my first MR and the details are as follows:

Flight : AA JFK-LAX, returning back to JFK on tuesday
Car: Hertz, Infiniti G37
Hotel: Aloft Rancho Cucamonga booked through my new membership with SPG.

I'm having a good time so far and knowing I'm close to getting status with AA has been worth it. Maybe next year I'll try to get status with SPG as well.

Thanks to the Hertz, AA forums along with DG, UAL4Life, Ripper, YEGcited, Short Hair Francis, Murph, and the all guys in the FT chat late at nite.

Welcome to the club. I made status for the first time during college thanks to a strategic mileage run. My friends would joke about it with me, but then if we happened to be on the same flight and I was sitting in First Class and they were in coach, they quickly understood

Now only if my friends could see my way , but no I can't see that happening right now although one kinda does. But the issue is would you try to upgrade your friends to F on a trip together?

I'm not beneath bolding myself either

I'm very glad to hear that your MR is going smooth so far and that you were able to rent an Infiniti! Way to do an MR in style!
