Red face How long does the TYP from shopping through Thankyou network appear in your account?

I am 20K short of 90K fixed point redemption and thinking of shopping through thankyou network to get the point. Thankyou network says it takes around~45 days. That's a little bit tricky as the Mar 1st is ~43 days away from now.

Anybody who has shopped via the thankyou network (links to other merchant), can you share your experience with the time frame for the point to appear in your account?

The times I've remembered to actually use the links from thankyou.com, the points posted on my next statement just like the regular points. But it's apparently been like seven months since I've used it because I always forget it exists. I could probably be at two business class tickets by now if I'd have remembered!

My experience has been that the timing of the points posting is unpredictable. Blockbuster did not post at all and I needed to call TYN. I eventually got the points about 6 months after the transaction. Sears.com, REI.com, AmericanEagle.com, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Lids, Eastern Mtn Sports and Kohls all posted within 2-6 weeks, but I cannot remember the specifics on each store. The date of their posting had no relationship to my statement date.
EDIT:
I have found the specifics from my TYN acct:

That's very useful. Thanks
So it does not depend on when the merchant reports the purchase and it is not relevant to your statement date.
I will be careful and will not shop with those that report with a long lag. (like blockbuster)

It seems to me that suddenly TYP for shopping are not posting as quickly as they were a month or two ago. My partner and I are due about a dozen postings for shopping over the past 5 weeks. NONE have posted. Before that, the points always posted in 1-2 weeks.

What is up with this? To say the least, I am not happy about this development, especially since we are owed about 30,000 TYP and since most of this shopping was done strictly to reach 90k before March 1.

I see that this is going to throw a monkey-wrench into my idea of buying an AA giftcard on GiftCertificates.com and getting it to post before 3/1. Does anyone have any experience using GC with ThankYou? They always seem to be rather unreliable and disorganized so I can imagine that it would take months to post.
